I don’t know anything about eduroam but if it’s your uni’s network then you’ll have to settle for local access only through a personal router.
This might be what you’re looking for https://lemux.minnix.dev/post/157074
I will have to try out some flask apps. I like the ease of use they seem to have
That’s interesting. So you would need to install flask as well I presume, right? Or does the script pull that in?
I guess I don’t understand what is supposed to be serving the webapp to your client (browser) then without something like nginx or apache. I run searxng as well but I wouldn’t be able to access it, even on localhost, without a web server.
What are you using for the web server? There should be logs somewhere
!sbcs@lemux.minnix.dev would appreciate this.
It worked great for me for a long time but after the One UI 6 update on Samsung it became so slow that it’s now unusable on my phone.
I use iredmail, but I also made sure I had access to port 25 and my IP wasn’t on any blacklist. This is the very first thing you should do or all your efforts could be in vain.
The two main sources I used for initial setup was the nextcloud tuning guide and Carsten Rieger’s guides which are always changing, here is the current one (in German but easy to translate).
Nextcloud is very quick IF you don’t mind applying extensive PHP and web server optimizations. This takes time and may have to be redone after upgrades depending on what changes. This is why I don’t really recommend it to those just looking to self host a simple file server.
You beat me to it, ABS is great.
Another vote for icecast here.
It’s a lesser known company and somewhat pricey, but my friend who I trust has given his a very glowing review. He has the 14" and is actually planning to give it to his gf and buy the 16" once they become available.
This would be perfect for a BBS.
https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/libreoffice works. Make sure you use a 64bit OS
I’m currently using it on v14, works fine.
