Then be more careful what you’re giving permissions to. Make a user group, and give that group privileges or something.

There are plenty of features that could effectively let you do what you want.
Mine is set to sync my server with a backup whenever my main PC is idle for 20 mins. Once it determines how to sync, it lets me review before syncing.
Not sure if it’s always possible but I setup an auth portal via port 443 where I’m using authelia and fail2ban, and using traefik to route authenticated users to other ports from there. So for example Plex 32400 is not exposed, only 443. But you get there via 443 and authentication.
